Careers in Real Estate

Can I be a Property Salesperson without a licence?

No, in Singapore, unlicensed salespersons are not allowed to practice. However, you can explore related roles, such as being a Personal Assistant (PA) to a property salesperson. In this role, you can assist with coordinating appointments, preparing marketing materials, and gaining exposure to the industry. This can help you determine if a career in real estate is suitable for you.


Why do we give an allowance of $1,000?

The allowance demonstrates our commitment to supporting full -time newcomers. It ensures your efforts are recognized and provides a financial buffer while you learn. We believe in compensating individuals fairly during their learning phase.


If I am an existing licensed Property Salesperson, Can I receive the allowance?

The allowance is exclusively for newcomers or individuals switching careers. If you are already a licensed salesperson but are underperforming, you should seek guidance from your agency or team leaders to improve your results.


Will everyone succeed in Real Estate?

No, success in real estate is not guaranteed. Unlike traditional jobs, there is no basic salary or fixed benefits. Success requires determination, adaptability, and a willingness to work hard in a competitive environment. Based on our experience, only about 3 out of 10 individuals truly thrive in this field. This is why we offer trial roles and on-the-job training. It’s better to test your suitability for the job before committing 6-12 months to obtaining a license and discovering it’s not for you.

How Do I Join Mindlink Groups as a Property Salesperson?

We welcome aspiring salespersons to join us. Whether you’re new to the industry or an experienced professional, Mindlink provides comprehensive training, mentorship, and a competitive commission structure to help you succeed.

Why are new salesperson entitled to a 90/10% commission structure at Mindlink, while others typically start from 70/30% or 80/20%?

New salesperson at Mindlink are given the opportunity to earn a 90/10% commission—sometimes even up to 94/6% with promotions—because they often come with referral connections, allowing them to generate leads with less support. For more complex cases, they can turn to team leaders for assistance, and arrangements can be made for a profit-sharing partnership at the both parties's discretion. Even experienced salespeople with more than 20 years in the industry may not know every aspect of real estate, as it is a vast field. Real-world cases are essential for continuous learning and development.

Why doesn’t Mindlink offer 100% commission?
While we aim to provide our salespersons with the maximum commission they deserve, it's important to consider the operating costs and leadership responsibilities involved. Real estate is a challenging industry, and having support from leaders is essential for long-term success. Leaders guide and mentor salespersons, helping them manage cases and overcome challenges. The commission structure ensures that both salespersons and leaders are rewarded for their contributions while maintaining the necessary support for everyone’s success.

Is 94/6% the highest commission rate for Mindlink salesperson?

Yes, the maximum commission for experienced salesperson at Mindlink is 94/6%, based on their performance and promotions. This structure ensures that while they are rewarded for their success, the support provided by leadership to help them grow and manage their business is also considered.

How do leaders benefit from the commission structure at Mindlink?
Our leaders at Mindlink enjoy a dynamic role, earning the maximum commission themselves while also benefiting from a 50/50% profit-sharing arrangement with the company. For example, when new interns join Mindlink and receive a $1000 allowance, any profits from closed deals (minus costs) are split with the leaders. Leaders also receive up to 5% commission from new salesperson starting from 90/10%, after the salesperson have received the commission they deserve. This structure ensures leaders are rewarded for their mentorship and support, contributing to the success of the entire team.

Can I invest and become a partner with Mindlink?
For monetary investment, it is not required. Mindlink is a hands-on company that values working contributions over financial injections. However, we welcome leaders with a team to become associate partners if they possess the charisma, real leadership qualities, and the passion to nurture others, even without the need for investment. Mindlink sets aside entities registered with ACRA for members of the management committee who excel and grow their business with us, providing an opportunity for them to partner with the company in a meaningful way.

Starting from 1st January 2025, the company will be managed by the Management Committee. For any matters, please feel free to reach out to them.
